TERMS & CONDITIONS - decluttering & organising
Tasks: To be agreed in the consultation.
Deposit: a deposit of £50 is payable at the time of booking session(s) to secure date(s) and is deducted from the cost of the first session. Deposits are non-refundable if sessions are cancelled less than 48 hours in advance.
Fees: are outlined on the FEES page and are payable at the end of each week. Payments can be made via BACS or by Debit or Credit card on-site.
Cancellations: Both Your Organised Life and the client have the right to postpone due to unforeseen and emergency circumstances and an alternative date can be arranged. Please give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel. If we arrive for a session without having a cancellation notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee and/or cancel further sessions.
Confidentiality and Privacy: We keep confidential all client information, except in very exceptional and specific circumstances where we are obliged by law to disclose such information. Your Organised Life is registered with the Information Commission and we adhere to data protection regulations to protect your personal information.
Travel Costs: we are able to travel up to a 25 mile radius from Grasby, Lincolnshire free of charge. Trips over 25 miles one way may be charged at 45p per mile.
Materials/Storage: Your Organised Life provides various organising materials such as black bin liners, labels, files, drawer dividers, cable tidies etc. Larger and more expensive items such as storage boxes are available to buy from Your Organised Life or can be sourced by the client.
Removal of items: will only take place with the client's authorisation. We supply bags and can remove some items for charity with the client's permission at the end of a work session. It is the client's responsibility to dispose of waste due to the UK waste disposal laws.
Safety: it is the client's responsibility to inform us if there are any known structural issues, infestations, dangerous animals, or other hazards within the building that would make working in the space potentially unsafe. We have the right to cease work in spaces deemed as dangerous and reserve the right to charge for the time and expenses incurred. We reserve the right to cease working if the client is actively smoking on the same floor.
Handling goods: Your Organised Life carries full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. The client should have sufficient content insurance for handling belongings.
Best Advice: is given in good faith and it is the client's decision to accept guidance.
